A Double Clicked Life........ After Death

I walk out to have my coffee in "el frente" and this is what I see.

She greets me every day with her fragrance.

Enjoying the little things.
Next week marks the date of my re - birth. After cardiac arrest, I was resuscitated twice. Needless to say I was in the hospital and rehabilitation for a couple of weeks. At home, I had to learn how to walk again. Family and friends were a blessing. It was no fun believe me!

Without getting too teary eyed and sentimental, I have to say having experienced that gives me a whole new perspective on life. We have been in existence only seconds in creation time.  Or something like that. Which leads me to say that I wish I could instill some kind of knowledge about life in today's youth. Unfortunately, each individual must experience life on their own terms.Or maybe fortunately. Otherwise how would we learn.  No matter what others try to teach us, we have to go through the fire on our own. How we do it is another thing.

At this point in my life,  I just give thanks every day for the joy of living. I've always said that there is nothing in life I have to do  or anyone can make me do. The only thing I have to do to live is breath in and out. Well, while breathing in and out, please make sure to enjoy the small moments. The fragrance of the flowers, a baby's smile, dewdrops, a sunrise and sunset,  glistening snow, a fine meal. Never mind fine, just a meal. That one has a meal and a roof over one's head is cause enough for celebration.
My older son, Edgar, said to me the other day,  "embrace the double click on the computer".  I say, "embrace life and enjoy every moment".  I take time out to smell the flowers. Thanks to my Creator...................

I am enjoying my double clicked life.
